This February, you and your family can dive into a world of intriguing activities, as Ripley’s team up with Fox to celebrate their latest home entertainment release, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Timed to meet the DVD and Blu-Ray release date of Tim Burton’s hit fantasy film, Ripley’s are set to host the fascinating Peculiar Happenings at Ripley’s experience, starting on February 7th and lasting all the way until 5th March.
The pop-up exhibition will feature real props and costumes from the film, which stars Hollywood greats such as Eva Green, Dame Judi Dench, Samuel L. Jackson and Rupert Everett. You’ll also get to watch amazing behind the scenes footage and see with your very own eyes Enoch’s Heart in a Jar, Miss Peregrine’s Birdcage and Mr Barron’s favourite snack – some juicy eyeballs!
As you enjoy the twists and turns of the exhibition, you’ll get to interact with the peculiar trail by collecting letters to reveal a mystery phrase linked to the film. Get it right and you’ll be entered into a free prize draw to win a luxury stay in Amsterdam, complete with flight, car hire, accommodation in a wonderfully peculiar hotel and entry to the fantastic Ripley’s Amsterdam!
Another spectacular feature of the Peculiar Happenings exhibit is the enchanted mirror, which has a secret twist when you show it your funniest facial expression!
You can also stand before a magical green-screen, which will transport you right into the film’s exciting scenes for a truly cinematic experience.
